FORTY & FABULOUS!!!

On August 15th I turned 40 and I feel great!

I had a fantastic weekend with my family and my good friends, Jennilyn, Adam, Calli & Marin

(their visit was a semi-surprise to help me celebrate).

Jennilyn felt it necessary to put some salt in the wound and surprised me with a few essentials to help me slide down the other side of "THE HILL"...

Look close at all the goodies I received!

(Pose Pads, Sleepeze, Rolaids - Gas Relief, Ultra Fiber, Vagisil Wipes, Preparation H, Corn Removers, Poli-Grip & Anti-Aging Masks).

It was all in good fun and I found it amusing!

I am not too frazzled about turning 40.

Aside from a few crows feet...

I AM FORTY & FABULOUS!!!!

(those little wrinkles add character any way!!)

My kiddies bought me some fantastic jewellery

(I am wearing some of it)

and Dann pampered me at the spa!!

Jennilyn took some awesome photos but I did not know how to get them from shutter fly to my blog.

I will enquire and post them in a few days.

On a side note...

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR!!

(I cannot wait for Emma to be back in school... 4 more days)

Can We Buy A Horse Mom????

We went out to our friend's acreage last weekend and we all had a great day.

It started out with the kids chasing all the farm kittens around and playing on the swing set.

We roasted hot dogs in the fire and then Emma & Ethan decided they wanted to ride one of Kelly's horses.

Emma kept telling Ethan he was too little but he thought otherwise and geared up without batting an eye.

Ethan loved riding smokey and wanted to go around and around.

Emma never really wanted to get onto a horse until this time.

Now she is asking if we can buy a horse...

OH BOY!

I do not see retirement in my future any time soon!

Emma looks like a natural.

The stir-ups were too short for this tall gal!
