Summer Time

I guess it has been a while since I posted something, because when I down loaded the photos from the camera, I realized that these pics of Emma bowling were taken over the May long weekend.

We took Emma bowling for the first time on Victoria Day, and she loved it. We all had fun whippin' the small ball down the lane. By the second game, Emma was getting a bit tired and I was getting a bit competitive (against Dann).

Anyhoo... highly recommended for all you families out there looking for a fun thing to do with the kiddies!!

This is Emma sporting her designer "Dexter" bowling shoes.
When I told Emma that she would have to wear "special" red, blue, orange or brown shoes to bowl in she replied, "Like Clown Shoes!"
(she was not far off)

I do believe summer has finally hit up our way. We had our doubts after all the snow we en cured, but the temps are in the high 20's, low 30's.
Hotter the better I say....

I bought Ethan a new summer hat from Old Navy,
doesn't he look sweet?

Dann loves to give the kids horsey rides on his legs. Emma is a bit big, but Ethan loves it
(so did Emma at that age)
Before we know it, Ethan will be bouncing on Emma's horse ball...
Where does the time go??


We went for a picnic at the local water park today.
We invited Darby to come with us, and the girls had a blast.
The water park is a far cry from the ones we went to in Kelowna with Sarina & Hazel, but we made the most of it!
It was 35'C today, so the cold water felt great!


All the hot sun and running through the water park tired Emma out.
(She took a quick nap before dinner).
I guess the sun did not make my boy sleepy...
