Here's Emma @ 08:15 hrs, enjoying the last day of summer before school started. It was a bit cool out, but she could not get her shoes on fast enough and get out on the swing. It may have had something to do with her friend Darby, who was waiting on the fence to talk with her.
I was a bit slower than some one my "bloggin' buddies", but here is a photo of Emma before leaving for her first day of Kindergarten.
She put a lot of thought into what she was going to wear. She went back and forth between new jeans & a t-shirt or her brown skirt & boots.
I guess jeans & a t-shirt won.

As mentioned before, Ethan is trying on different things, trying to determine his Halloween costume.
I do believe the black Gorilla is the winner!

Sure do love that 'little' gorilla!! So cute. He is growing up so fast. Hard to believe that Emma is now off to kindergarten. She sure knows how to pick out her outfits (must have a good teacher!) Great job Emma. We are looking forward to our visit next week.
oh dear, i have a little tear in my eye looking at emma, i still look at her and see that little monkey that had to be bounced on the ball......
hope she is enjoying school, seems like it is a year overdue....i bet she is leaps ahead of the class.
